To remove cups:

Code:
rpm -qa | grep -i cups
Once you get the listing of packages, then you run
Code:
rpm -e <cup packages>
As for LPRng, haven't installed that one before but you can do this:
1. find the rpm package for your distribution on rpmfind.net or similar sites
2. Download it and run a 'rpm -i <blah.rpm>' and be done with it.
3. You might need additional rpm's to resolve dependencies, but you install them the same way as above.

You could also use yum e.g.
Code:
#yum remove cups
