remove 'recently used applications' from KDE menu


is there a way to remove the 'recently used applications' from the KDE menu?
also the 'bookmarks' and 'quick browser' categories.... thanks

right click on the task bar and choose "configure panel"
on the menus tab at the bottom are two linked (for some reason) radio buttons
choose the bottom one and then set the number of show most frequently used to "0"

thats a really anoying feature yes ?

thanks guys, it was a lot of help....i recently switched from fluxbox....i still dont know what the big fuss about kde is..but i'm giving it a whirl...thanx again

KDE is somewhat RAM intensive.........but if you spend time tweaking you can customize it...........you can get some very nice........wallpapers, mouse themes, splash themes, icons, sounds, and other stuff from.......www.kde-look.org
