remount RAID drive after reboot with mdadm

i use mdadm --create md0 option raid0, for my sdb1 and sdc1
then format the md0 and succesfully mount it to /mnt/myraid

For some reason, after booting the machine, my md0 is gone.
I have to use the "mdadm --assemble" and able to mount /dev/md0 again succesfully.

I am using the loadable raid card driver module that get called in the rc.sysinit. I did not add the driver to the kernel yet since I don't know how to do it at the moment.

Does anyone know how to avoid remounting md0 everytime I boot the machine? I try putting the mdadm --assemble cmd in the rc.sysinit, but it did not work.

As it happens, I was just in that spot today. The rc.sysinit on my machine doesn't actually call mdadm unless the file /etc/mdadm.conf exists. Even if it does exist, unless it has the RAID set definition in it, mdadm will refuse to do anything you care about.
