remote into linux question

Hey all, its been a long time since i have messed with linux, I want to build a new linux box for a specific reason but have a question.

I need to be able to remote into my linux box from a remote location and load a windows app using wine. My question is does the app running in wine have the ability to see I am remoted into the linux box remotely? No I am not attempting anything illegal btw.

(if I understood your question well) if you want to know if that app could detect remote access: I would say no, that would be hard to implement, but actually not impossible.
