remote firefox aka x shm

hi folks!

i do have trouble using the mozilla firefox remotely without setting the
--no-xshm flag. even it works when enabled, the displaying machine isn't
the fastest one and i hoped to speed up things a bit.
question: is it possible to use the shared memory extensions from the
remote X-display at all? as it's like piped i don't think so - am i right? (don't
hope so;)

sl mritch.
