remote desktop resolutions
I'm in debian/kde and I am looking for a remote desktop viewer/server that can view a remote desktop configured with an orthoganal display that is larger than the local displays and then display them on the local system as if they were native.
Remote system, for example: display 1: 1280x1024, display 2: 1600x900.
Local display 1: 1280x1024 display 2: 1280x1024
We want the larger orthogonal remote display 2 to resolve in the local display 2 window at 1280x1024(and look pretty)
nomachine can do a lot of things, but not this. remmina and vinagre are gnome specific.
krdc simply didn't work and locked xorg requiring hard reboot.
Before I install a bunch of other things that may or may not work and lock my system, I thought I would ask.
Basically I'm looking for a remote desktop client that can resolve whatever remote resolution it may possibly be properly onto whatever local displays there may be. And look pretty.
(i know this may be ridiculous, i personally am satisfied with nomachine and impressed but customer wants it all and is unsatisfied with stretching or extra black space)
