remote desktop NoMachine and AnyDesk claims Mint Cinnamon desktop running in software rendering mode
 

But it is not?
It was working fine, then this error keeps popping up with every remote PC connection to linux mint PC.

I am sorry but when I run glxinfo on the mint pc, software rendering says YES.

Teamviewer seems to have no trouble at all.

Problem was the nvidia driver corrupted itself and could no longer function as created originally.
So I destroyed that driver and installed a new one to take its place.
