Remote administration from RH9 to XP and logging

Well, I'm new here at the forums, but I've been messing around with Linux for a while (not really active, just learning Linux).

Now, I've got a network to get up and running with me as administrator.
The idea is the set up a server with RedHat 9, and use it as a gateway for 4 WinXP computers.

The XP computers aren't bought yet, but I got an old HP Vectra VL7 as a networkserver, and I'm setting it up now.
Everything is under control, but I'm searching for 3 programs.

- Remote administration program to see live what the persons on the other computers are doing (it's for a youthcentre...) and be able to take over control
This is the most important thing I need

- A program which can log all network activity from the clients trough the server towards the internet, and especially which sites are visited (I don't need to read the mail the sent or passwords or something... I don't even want to!).

- A program that can block sites/domains. I was thinking about Squid, but is it freeware, and isn't there a program with a GUI (I saw Squid on school, quite a lot of tiny letters... :p ).

In advanced thanks,

René

Ok, I'm gonna use Squid, since it's freeware.

The logging might be done by Firestarter or Snort

Just searching for a remote administrator program like the Sunbelt Remote Administrator, but then also for Linux.

Need help with this really...
I'm just a :newbie:

Regards,

René
