Remote Admin
Hello,
My first post on here spo please don't bite..... I'm trying to resolve a problem with Tapeware running on 2 servers. On one of these servers I've had to remove/reinstall Tapeware. Originally on boths servers users could use putty/shh to login as twadmin, which would then open straight into the twadmin console. (this is done with somthing similar to this is the passwd and passwd- files: twadmin:x:200::/usr/local/tapeware:/usr/local/tapeware/twadmin and the permissions on the /usr/local/tapeware/twadmin file altered.) Since reinstalling tapeware on one of these users can no longer ssh in using the twadmin acount. When I tested this both with shh or su-ing in as twadmin I get a: Exec: Unable to fine admin.bin As far as I can tell the set up on each server is identical. Does anyone have any ideas what could be causing this ? Thanks for any help, Darren |
If "admin.bin" exists, then is it outside the $PATH statement for that user or does the user not have permissions to execute?
