Talking Remmina Evaluation

I am evaluating Remmina for use as remote desktop software that can connect to a remote Linux device from a local Windows PC. Does Remmina have a software API that will allow me to programmatically do remote screen captures and virtual mouse clicks? If there is a way to simulate or inject other I/O, such as hardware button presses, that would also be helpful.

Remmina is Linux > Windows, not Windows > Linux, if I'm not mistaken.

Please clarify your intentions.
