ReiserFS and ACL support?

Is it possible for ReiserFS to support ACL? I've been researching on Google, and it seems as though it's possible, however I haven't seen how to actually do it.

I'm running Slackware 10 on a server, and the way I figure it I need to compile a 2.6.7 kernel with ACL support, and then somehow get reiserfs to get acl support. Maybe I should just use EXT3 (does it support ACL natively)?

If you want native ACL support in Linux at the moment
XFS is your only option to the best of my knowledge.
ACL in Reiser will be possible with version 4 (FS with
plugin-capabilities, allowing things like transparent
encryption or ACLs)....

You could have a look at NSA's SE Linux patches,
but I haven't looked into it in too much detail.

All right, thanks. I might just hold off on ACL (and just use SAMBA to set the shares to allow certain users/groups) until Reiser4.
