((It occurred to me that I may have posted this sort-of thing in the past in either this or another forum but I don't remember so if so I am sorry and would like to know where if it was in this one)).
O but pleas help if you can with the repair or reinstall.
You could make the new install to an empty partition. Then you can work through the files and selectively move a few files from the old install to the new install.

I tried that but with 45000 I originally setup in different pleases it seems endless.
Is it not possible to maybe use the repair feature on the fedora CD to repair everything?
maybe an advanced install would work?
Pleas any help!

I think that Ill try SystemRescueCd witch Iv been told might fix the system, and if it cant it would possibly allow me to do the kind of advanced reinitialization using either the fedora CD or a backup from a different harddrive I use in the same system utilizing the same fedora install.
I was wonder is there any software copied the entire system to a DVD including configuration, /home and program.
I realised that partion ur drive into /, /boot, /usr, /var and many more can increase the security.
I hope this help.
Whats all that?
I don't know what your trying to say but I found out that I can use chmod or chown within the rescue of the fedora CD and so now I think that all I need is to fix or reinstall yum before I can enter fedora normally since the files have been repaired and I reset the permissions.
The system wont start even to the point of the log-in screen and a test I ran showed problems in the yum package witch as was told to me is do to the other Apps not operating properly.
