Regd Xen

Scenario:

1) I have installed fedora 7 with XEN
2) I have selected the new machine as Sparc.
3) Copied the opensolaris DVD's to HDD on /opt for media
4) Provided the ISO path in the Xen application
5) tried to start it.. but failed with some success, that is I had atleast the OK prompt with minimal functionality (probably no one has tried this way)
6) Host Machine type : Intel X86

Question:

1) Did I commit any mistake in the above scenarion?

2) Is my assumption wrong that "we can virtualise any machine on any type of machine ( I mean X86 on sparc, sparc on ppc etc)..surely this might be a foolish question ..cos even the virtualisation software emulates the underlying hardware..In such a case we can install only

Thank you
Mahen
