regarding viewing applets in linux


hi,
I am following java tutorial of sun to learn java . The tuitorial says to view applets in linux use appletviewer command but that is not there on my computer. Can neone plz tell me where i can find it or do i have to start some services plz help me out. I installed everything in fedora core 3 so i didnt miss any packages it provided on cd's .
