Refreshing a Linux Network
Ok I need to know why I can't surf the internet with Mozilla on Red Hat Linux 9. I was on vacation and my uncle put Linux on my computer and I was able to surf the internet but now since I'm back home, I'm not able to.

what i'd do is to check all the little things first.
check your power cables to make sure everything is plugged in and getting power (router/hub, broadband mode if using broadband). check the cable connections from you computer to modem or whatever cables you use for connecting via dialup if you use dialup. i had a problem with one of my computers once. tried every software thingy and it still wouldn't connect. swapped the rj45 cable from another computer and i could connect - the rj45 cable was broken.

You will have to be more specific about your hardware. Surfing is quite a generic term when diagnosing anything.
