Refresh Rates
i can not get my monitor in linux to go over 60hz refresh rate in linux even with the newest drivers in linux for my video card when i ran windows i could get it up to 75 hz why cant i change this??

I had this problem and what you need to do is to set the monitor refresh rate EXACTLY. For example, if you want it to be 120 hz, you can't just put 120 hz. You have to put something like:
vertical: 119.85 horizontal: 60.50 Of course, make sure you look at your monitor settings before you do this! Linux is picky and wants the exact numbers. |
