Reduce postfix logging level

Hi,

I've got a problem with postfix since installing CentOS.

Postfix seems to be logging a HUGE amount to the maillog. Nearly 250 lines per email sent/received... most of it looks like this...

Nov 23 11:20:44 localhost postfix/smtpd[973]: input attribute name: flags
Nov 23 11:20:44 localhost postfix/smtpd[973]: input attribute value: 0
Nov 23 11:20:44 localhost postfix/smtpd[973]: private/rewrite socket: wanted attribute: transport
Nov 23 11:20:44 localhost postfix/smtpd[973]: input attribute name: transport
Nov 23 11:20:44 localhost postfix/smtpd[973]: input attribute value: virtual
Nov 23 11:20:44 localhost postfix/smtpd[973]: private/rewrite socket: wanted attribute: nexthop
Nov 23 11:20:44 localhost postfix/smtpd[973]: input attribute name: nexthop
Nov 23 11:20:44 localhost postfix/smtpd[973]: input attribute value: domain.com
Nov 23 11:20:44 localhost postfix/smtpd[973]: private/rewrite socket: wanted attribute: recipient
Nov 23 11:20:44 localhost postfix/smtpd[973]: input attribute name: recipient
Nov 23 11:20:44 localhost postfix/smtpd[973]: input attribute value: fdfd@domain.com
Nov 23 11:20:44 localhost postfix/smtpd[973]: private/rewrite socket: wanted attribute: flags
Nov 23 11:20:44 localhost postfix/smtpd[973]: input attribute name: flags
Nov 23 11:20:44 localhost postfix/smtpd[973]: input attribute value: 1024
Nov 23 11:20:44 localhost postfix/smtpd[973]: private/rewrite socket: wanted attribute: (list terminator)
Nov 23 11:20:44 localhost postfix/smtpd[973]: input attribute name: (end)

Is there any way this can be reduced back down to normal logging levels?

Thanks

I'm not certain, but I think /etc/postfix/main.cf is the place to set the debug level. Look for this: # DEBUGGING CONTROL. In that section, set the debug level: 1 is probably lowest level; higher numbers increase debug level.

Also, check master.cf for any entries ending in "-v", e.g.
Code:
smtp inet n - n - - smtpd -v
