redhat9 install hangs at "running\sbin\loader"

I tried to install redhat9 from cd,bu it hangs.
the last line printed is "running\sbin\loader".
I have tried "linux ide=nodma" and so on,bu it made no use. The hardware are like this: p3,128ram,
52×cdrom,via mainboard, one ide harddisk with no other os.

Try booting the CD on another machine and do a media check

What machine? Laptop? Try installing without ACPI support. Try to install without pcmcia support. I think there is a option to switch these off.
My RH8 installation hang on a laptop using ACPI. The bios code of most compters don't follow the specifications exactly.
Running the kernel from boot CD succesfully try to update to a newer version with ACPI support.

I have moved CD and harddisk to another machine, and it installed
without hangs. So i guess if there was some thing wrong with mainboard or ram. IF so, what can i do?
