I have a demo account on Redhat network that allows me to patch my box. I have a RH 8.0 box that I when I "up2date -u" on it, it downloads all the patches it thinks it should have. However, when I look at the server via Redhat's web page, it says the server needs "10 errata and 3 packages" and it lists them as critical. How do I install these?
Just to make sure I understand how to use Redhat network.
Build new system off CD
Run: up2date, accept defaults
Run: up2date, login and accepts all the packages listed.
Run: install the rpm for rhn, I don't remember command.
Run: up2date -u to install all the needed packages.
Distribution: Gentoo, Debian, Ubuntu, Red Hat/CentOS

I only ever used up2date once but I remember it being prettty hands off. I think if you have an acct set up all you need to do is click the red exclamation point and answer the questions. It should do the install for you. AFAIR
