Yeah, I got the same one yesterday. It was the first I've heard of RH9. Apparently if you are a RH Network member, you can get access to the ISO's a week before they go up on the FTP sites or come into the stores.

Here is the address where some screenshots can be seen for the New
RedHat 9. To me, there is no difference from 8.1 beta and the 9!
Fact, I didn't see anything new. But for those who may want to see
the screenshots before 9 comes out then here is the link:

http://anyweb.kicks-ass.net/linux/redhat%209/index.html

8.1 have the new kernel, KDE and Gnome. Some bugs have been fixed
from the 8.0 but that is it as far as I know. I wanted to see auto
mount in 9 and guess not. It's sad that Redhat 9 didn't have the same setup
as Mandrake 9.0 & SuSE 8.1 with auto mount after setup - no need to
create c:$ or cd drive on desktop because in those distros it appears
automatically after setup is completed from installation. With RH
8.1 beta it still must be done manually.

Any how - it was something I was looking for in the new release.
Well, hope the link did help for those who had asked.

That install looked just like 8.0, a few different pictures in the install though.

I totally agree, it looks the same as 8.0, but I bet the 9.1 - 9.4 will change a bit, I guess. :P

I heard somewhere that packet writing support has been added to Red Hat 9. Anyone else hear that?

Those screenshots look to me to be of kde 3.0. I figured they would at least include 3.1. What gives?

I bet they are probably giving us back the xine player with dvd and mp3 support. but what i wan't to know is if this time they are going to show you how to set up a mail server in the documentation instead of just installing the packages for them and leaving you wondering what to do with them like in redhat 8.0

It's all about making us feel like we need something new!!!!
I wish i would of bought 7.3,But the feeling i would have been missing
something! Pick up 8.0 and went home....The same thing that i'll do
with 9 hahaha
