Redhat Database 2.1 part II
 

I posted a question last night about loading RHDB 2.1, and I have updated my RPM's like the person directed me to. I tried to install the database by typing in

./Install

like the ReadMe document says to. But now I am getting an error message saying,

[root@localhost cdrom]# ./Install
In order to install Red Hat Database, you must be running one of:
- Red Hat Linux Advanced Server 2.1
- Red Hat Linux 7.3
- Red Hat Linux 8.0


I am running Red Hat Linux 9.0. Can I not use this database with 9.0? Wouldn't the operating system be able to use software for the older systems??

I am trying to find a free database that is a GUI form, like MSAccess. Does anyone know of a relational database that is more flexible, and SQL oriented than Access?
