I can get on the net. But this weekend it went wrong. When I run redhat-config network, it can't save the changes. It comes up with "//etc/sysconfig/network-scriptss//ifcfg-lo.rpmsave" not found.
The file ifcfg-lo.rpmsave does exist, but it is a link to something. And it is broken. That's what a click on permissions says.
Anyone know where it should point??
What it does?
Is the error a simple spelling error in a script, as there are two double // in the error message.
I installed the network device again, and it works, but still comes up with the error.
redhat-config-network is looking for something. What??

Got it fixed. The link was to ../networking/ifcfg-lo, which wasn't where it should have been. It was in /network-scripts, sitting next to the link it should have been the target of. I cp ied it into /network, and tarara, problem solved, so sorry for getting in a panic but I thought I wouldn't be able to solve it myself.
