RedHat Installation !
Hello Group,
I have downloaded RedHat ver 9.0 (planing to replace Mandrake!!!) what I got were three ISO file. Then I burned 3 CDs. Please let me know how I could convert *.iso files to the thing which it's supposed to be. let's say my iso files are in a directory in Windows 2000 if there is no soltuion consder having them in a directory in mandrake either. Any answer with detail would be appreciated greatlyl. Thanks |
Since I have a HP cd burner, I downloaded the free burning software off of www.hp.com. When I selected the .ISO for burning, the program asked if I wanted to extract the .iso data for burning. Another guy in our office uses Nero. He had to go to a menu and select that his data was from an image. I understand with EasyCD creator you can just double click the file in Windows, and EasyCD automatically extracts the data before burning. All of these examples are from Windows. I think if you want to burn a cd in Linux, you use cdrecord but I am not sure how you extract the data from the image before burning.
