Redhat 9 And The Dreaded Speedtouch 330
 

I have gone through a couple of theads and other sites to but to no avial. I am also stuck using redhat 9 and the dreaded speedtouch 330 modem (new look red one) I also have the stedy green lights on but I can surf to any web sites etc etc...... Please can someone help me I am a totel novice on Linux and I am giving up hope! Please dont leave me stuck in the shitty world of BILL GATES any longer AHHHHHHHHH!

Hi I've just finished installing RH9 and speedtouch 330.

I had lots of problems but I'll talk you through the process step-by-step.

First phone your ISP helpdesk and ask for the IP's of the DNS nameservers, get at least 2 of them. We may need them and its better to get them right from the start.

I'll post step 2 when I get home, I need to look something up. Can u post your location (country) as well.

MY dns nameservers are 158.43.240.4
and 158.43.240.3
