Redhat 8 kernel

i just ran the update and downloaded the new kernel, i run red hat 8, and on my system i dualboot with linux and windows, and on the bootloaderm it displays the dos partition, and then the new and old linux kernel, is there anyway to make just the new one and dos show up at the boot loader instead of both linux kernels?

if your using lilo you can edit /etc/lilo.conf, remove or put comments( # ) infront of the section you don't want then re-run lilo to update it.
