redhat 8.0 installation errors


HI

Iam new to linux.when i tried to install redhat 8.0 from the disk images i downloaded iam getting errors
i made the boot.img boot disk when i boot i get the prompt and when it gives the option where the installation media is when i select cdrom it says no redhat linux cdrom found in anyof the installed cdrom drives.when i checked the log file it shows trying to mount hdc.I would be greatful if anybody could help me in this.

I'm assuming you downloaded the iso images and then burned them to cd. Burning iso images is a little different then buring regular cds. Do you have many files and folders on your cds or just the .iso image on each?

Well that appears to be what should be on the disk. Have you tried booting directly to the cd instead of using a boot disk?

I tried with another cd and booted it directly from cd it worked fine
