its because Red Hat 9.0 its new and maybe the server owners don't like to upgrade and only do so when there is a big change or something new they need

HI,
Thanks for your reply. So there is no difference between 7.3 and 9.0 ??? except look and feel . All network /server services are same ??? as new versions - like upgrade version to existing services like open ssh etc ?

- thanks for your time.

There are new versions of almost everything in red hat 9.0 but you can install them in 7.3 too without the need for installing the whole OS, you can even have newer versions of software in 7.3 than 9.0 if you like to install things from source. Hope you get the idea

I don't know what to say about the kernel because I always install the vanilla kernel, I think that red hat has new kernel kernel versions for 7.3 in RPM
For the server get red hat 9.0 and in the installation choose you want a web server and it will install the necessary packages if you want it small in size don't install X
