RedHat 7.2 LAPTOP Installation
 

I tried to install RedHat 7.2 CD on my Toshiba 2595CDT laptop. It boots ok on other bootable CD, But when I put Disc1 of RedHat 7.2 it bypass the boot CD of RedHat 7.2 then load MS Win98. Any idea what causing it?

I really want to test it, but I can't so far.

check the bios to make sure the cdrom is the first boot device. hold the esc key while booting and then it will tell you to hit F1(i think) to enter bios setup. if it is then you'll have to make a boot floppy

use the boot.img file in the images folder on the CD.

run rawrite in the dosutils folder, use the boot.img file and you can boot the floppy to install it.
