Redhat 7.2 ISO images

I NEED HELP!!!!!
I Downloaded redhat 7.2 ISO images from redhats website and I burned them to CD's. I tried to boot fromt he CD rom drive and it didn't work, then I used the Rawrite to make a diskette and booted from that to perform the install... The CD drive is then accessed and a message pops up telling me there is no redhat linux cd in the drive when there is an ISO image on the cd.... Do I have to burn the cd in a specific format in order for the system to be able to access the ISO info on the CD to perform the install???? Any questions or suggestions would be great for I am going nuts here trying to get it to work... Just remember the CD drive is accessible..... Thanks to anyone who can help me.....

Did you check the checksums? I think your isos are corrupt.

Your ISO Problem

how did you burn the image did you just copy the image to the cd or what when you view the cd from the box you burned it on what do you see a single iso image or a files structure?

Yes, you have to use the "burn CD image" (or similar) option, as opposed to just copying the file to CD.

If, as TimBeR said, you just see a single ISO file on the disk, you're the proud parent of a bouncing baby coaster- try again. :D

BTW: there are some basic burning instructions and pointers at Linuxiso.org.

Corruption is common...copying straight to cd is silly..
