ohleary LQ Newbie Registered: Aug 2003 Posts: 12 Rep:	Redhat 7.1: Gnome won't start for one user I have a user that runs a script starting an additional display. This ran and I did the ctrl+alt+backspace to shut down the X-server, but was bumped to the RH Gnome login screen. Now I can't login as the user, though all other users can login and Gnome starts fine. When I try to login as the user, the screen flashes, turns black and returns to the Gnome login screen. I can login as the user in command line mode. Any ideas???
