Red hat wont boot


I recently installed redhat 7.2 ( i realize that it is out dated) on a system and when it finishes going through post and my system info and trys to boot from hard drive all i get as a "L" and it just sits their, i have even installed it on diffrent hard drives and still nothing any suggestions.

old bios?

Are you using old hardware? Will your bios boot beyond 1024 cylinders?

This sounds like you're getting the L99999999 message - you're not alone, this has been asked a few times here. A search of this site should help.
