Red Hat GFS Questions....

We are running Red Hat 5.3 x86_64bit on our servers and want to install GFS on the servers.

Do you know the packages that need to be installed on the servers for GFS ??

And, once installed, how do we migrate/change the current LVM ext3 file systems to GFS ??

Thanks

Clustering and Cluster Storage should take care of it...
Code:

yum groupinstall "Clustering" "Cluster Storage"

Depending on your storage constraints it may be as simple as creating another LV of equal or greater capacity than current ext3 filesystem data consumption and copying (pick a tool, there are many) the data from the ext3 LV to the GFS|GFS2 LV or you may need to backup (pick a method, there are many) format the ext3 LV as GFS|GFS2 and restore.

Might be useful...
