You start by signing up for a 30-day trial here
https://www.redhat.com/wapps/ugc/reg...cutionKey=e1s1

I can see why you asked. It was not an easy page to find!

you buy a SLA for RHEL7, to upgrade from RHEL6 to 7 you typically perform a fresh full install. there is not direct upgrade path that is "safe"

as you are paying for RHEL 6 call them and they can answer all of your questions.

An alternative is to convert to CentOS and upgrade within the CentOS ecosystem.
  1. Convert RedHat EL 6 to CentOS 6.
  2. Upgrade CentOS 6 to CentOS 7. (use the upgrade tool to determine if an upgrade is possible and then upgrade)

CentOS project uses the RHEL sources to build a 100% binary compatible OS with RHEL equivalents (e.g. RHEL6 == CentOS6, RHEL7 == CentOS7, etc).
