Red Hat 9 Apt Repositories?

Around Christmas I wrote on my calendar that I needed to upgrade my Red Hat 9 servers by today because it would not longer be supported. Unfortunately, I didn't write down where I got this info. I'm having a hard time verifying my own notes. Is Red Hat no longer supported? I'm thinking it had something to do with the Apt repositories going down, but freshrpms seems to have repos for RH all the way back to 6.2.

This is a stupid question, but why would I have written this around December?

Thanks

You may have written that in response to the announcement that Red Hat 9 would no longer be supported by Red Hat, which caused many of us angry Red Hat Network members to run to other distros. The Apt repositories are not maintained by the folks at Red Hat to the best of my knowledge so you should still be able to find packages. It will over time become more and more difficult to find new packages as fewer people will be making RPMs for Red Hat distros. That is my guess why you wrote it.

I think in response to what you said about RedHat not supporting 9 anymore made tuxfamily.org drop their 9.0 repository. I went to verify that with Tuxfamily.org, but it apparently no longer maintains any apt repositories. Between then and now, I already moved to freshrpms so I may have already "upgraded" if my apparently weak memory serves me.

I'll be a little more verbose in my notes next time.

Thanks for your response. That was probably part of it.
