Or you can try Centos

you dont. you (or preferably your corperation) pays 50 bucks for a 1-year self support subscription or $300 for a 1-year desktop support contract. why do you need (want) redhat el ?

the next best option would be to download centos-7 which is a re-compile of redhat enterprise linux with the trademarked branding and support removed.

there is also fedora which is owned by redhat which they provide free as a market beta test. a lot of the bleeding-edge features end up in redhat enterprise once the bugs are stabilized.

have you paid for LTS? if not, then see above. CentOS v7 is live with the same source RPMs as RHEL v7.
