red hat 6.2 mouse and keyboard wont work

I just installed red hat 6.2. Everything loads fine but it looks like I used the wrong keyboard (I used the US option?).
As far as the mouse goes I have a intellimouse. I set it to com1 wich Iam sure its wrong. Is there a way to change my options without having to reinstall. By the way my keyboard works fine when I type my Login Name.

I the only way I know red hat is running is because I inserted a CD and it recognized it.

This might be an XFree86 problem more than a Red Hat 6.2 problem. Try running XF86Setup to configure the mouse and keyboard.

IIRC you can also use the standard 'setup' in RH 6.2 to get to various options, one might contain your keyboard setup, but don't hold me to this... Redhat ain't my distro...

HTH

Thanksss...

I ended up Reinstalling using a generic PS/2 Mouse. I works for now but is there a way to be able to use the scroll wheel. Under windows I have to be conected to the USB port.
