i will edit configuration VGA on backtrack 5r3 laptop thosiba from recovery mode, i try login on backtrack but iam stuck/ hang

Don't be sentimental and too fast to mark post as helpful. I haven't solved your problem yet.

Are you using nvidia grphica card, amd, intel or some other?
Why do you want to install them on recovery mode? Are you not able to reach on terminal using proper booting. If you are facing any error what is it?

Are you facing any black screen after booting, if it is see this.
