somebody send me this link to a supposedly funny movie and i just opened it and pressed record to see it when i have time later on (and i have fixed my not working sound):

but when the movie was finished, i saw that the saved file still wasn't any bigger then 140b! the recording didn't work. i tried another time, also without result.

i use suse linux 9.1 (kde 3.2.1) with kaffeine 0.7.1 that came with a multimedia package i recently installed (but the sound malfunction didn't appear at once!). before, kaffeine had a red button for recording that worked very well. btw, i didn't know it was necessary to download and install a multimedia package after installing suse, which explained some of my earlier troubles (one year with standard-suse that didn't work too well..).
