Record Desktop App, where can I find it for Mint and Fedora?
Good day, I have been looking for record my desktop in Mint and Fedora repositories, but no luck. Whereas in 2014 I used it.
I hope to read a helpful post to find this application.

It's in Ubuntu so I assume it should be in Mint too. What do you get with
Code:
apt-cache search recordmydesktop
?

I just checked in Synaptic on my Mint box. It's in the repos as "recordmydesktop."
You can find the sources here: http://recordmydesktop.sourceforge.net/downloads.php

Apparently yes, according to the document below, which mentions gtk-recordmydesktop and qt-recordmydesktop. Istanbul and Byzanz are mentioned as well.
Screening using Fedora

Hi again, I have two pcs running Fedora 21, thanks to you help I got record my desktop running and can record Cisco Packet Tracer.
I installed istanbul, which shows an icon, but does not open.
Is there a command line I can learn to open the apps? Or another fix?

Hi Novatian. I'm glad that you got "record my desktop" working. Regarding Istanbul, I'm not a Fedora or Gnome user, hence unfortunately I'm not able to help you further. I suggest that you open a new, specific thread about Istanbul: it will be more effective, since this one was already marked as solved.
