Reconfiguring PHP for Suse 9.2

Hello there, I'm having a bit of trouble regarding sessions with php, basically any time I call session_start() my web page just doesn't do anything.

I thought it might be because on the phpinfo page the configure command:

'./configure' '--prefix=/usr' '--datadir=/usr/share/php' '--mandir=/usr/share/man'
'--bindir=/usr/bin' '--libdir=/usr/share' '--includedir=/usr/include' '--sysconfdir=/etc'
'--with-_lib=lib' '--with-config-file-path=/etc' '--with-exec-dir=/usr/lib/php/bin'
'--disable-debug' '--enable-inline-optimization' '--enable-memory-limit'
'--enable-magic-quotes' '--enable-safe-mode' '--enable-sigchild' '--disable-ctype'
'--disable-session' '--without-mysql' '--disable-cli' '--without-pear' '--with-openssl'
'--with-apxs2=/usr/sbin/apxs2-prefork' 'i586-suse-linux'
Though it might be to do with the disable-session part, but I don't know how to reconfigure it so that they are enabled.

Any help would be great.

Actually nevermind, I just performed some updates with Yast and it installed some php modules and now it seems to work!
