recommendations for back up software?

Hey,
Can anyone recommend a back up application that is stable, easy to use, and is able to be set to back up on a scheduled basis? I need a program that fits these requirements that I can installed on a samba server that will be set up in my dad's lab.

Thanks,
Derek
