You receive a message "err 30 cannot install" message?

Where? When? What does the message actually say?

Help us help you, and provide an explanation of what you are doing, how you are doing it, what you are doing it on, EXACTLY what it says and so on. Don't be afraid to take a picture of the error if it is during boot.

Re: err 30

the message presents itself when i attempt to install the Kernel to either a hard drive or a flash drive (in which i have done before) via flash iso or dvd.. Both Modes were checked to make sure no errors were on the disk and flash. It would go through the process of partitioning and copying files but the message comes up as [error30] Read-only file system soon as it gets to the installation process begins. I'll attempt to upload a screen shot as soon as i'm able to away from my home workstation.
