Receiving aborted message when running aticonfig

Hi all,
I recently installed Fedora Core 7 and I am attempting to install the drivers for my ATI x1650 pro. The catalyst drivers all seemed to install fine (but I also can't open ati catalyst center), but when I attempt to run aticonfig i get the error message below and then when i try to run it again there is not xorg.conf file.

Any help?

[root@localhost X11]# aticonfig --initial

Why make it difficult? All you need to do is set up the livna repository. Make a file called livna.repo in etc/yum.repos.d and paste the following into it:

Quote:
[livna]
name=Livna for Fedora Core $releasever - $basearch - Base
baseurl=
http://rpm.livna.org/fedora/$releasever/$basearch/
http://livna.cat.pdx.edu/fedora/$releasever/$basearch/
http://wftp.tu-chemnitz.de/pub/linux/livna/fedora/$releasever/$basearch/
http://ftp-stud.fht-esslingen.de/pub/Mirrors/rpm.livna.org/fedora/$releasever/$basearch/
http://mirror.atrpms.net/livna/fedora/$releasever/$basearch/
ftp://mirrors.tummy.com/pub/rpm.livna.org/fedora/$releasever/$basearch/
failovermethod=priority
#mirrorlist=http://rpm.livna.org/mirrorlist-7
enabled=0
gpgcheck=1
gpgkey=file:///etc/pki/rpm-gpg/RPM-GPG-KEY-livna

[livna-debuginfo]
name=Livna for Fedora Core $releasever - $basearch - Debug
baseurl=
http://rpm.livna.org/fedora/$releasever/$basearch/debug/
http://livna.cat.pdx.edu/fedora/$releasever/$basearch/debug/

failovermethod=priority
enabled=0
gpgkey=file:///etc/pki/rpm-gpg/RPM-GPG-KEY-livna
gpgcheck=1

[livna-source]
name=Livna for Fedora Core $releasever - $basearch - Source
baseurl=
http://rpm.livna.org/fedora/$releasever/SRPMS/
http://livna.cat.pdx.edu/fedora/$releasever/SRPMS/

Before proceeding with the rest, make sure than any remaining bits of the botched driver install are cleared. Open Applications > Add/Remove and search for anything that is fglrx related.

Then, from the command line, you run:

yum --enablerepo livna install kmod-fglrx

That's it.
