Rebind mouse button 6?


? At the moment I have it set to left scroll I think.

It's an explorer Intellimouse with 7 buttons including the wheel.

Would be nice if I could have buton 6 set to backspace to make it go back in my browser.

I ran across a howto while back...I wish I could find it.

Basically, you'll need to remap the keys using xmodmap. I honestly have never done it before. I'd man xmodmap and see if there's a way to do it.

unfortunately xmodmap can't remap a mouse button press to a key press
