Realtime streaming from windows to linux

Does anyone know a solution for streaming the audio output of a windows machine to a linux box?

I was more looking for a way to do it over the network and possibly a wireless connection.

try VLC under windows, the linux should be able to view the media you streamed from windows.

i only tried to stream the media from linux and view it under windows, and the reverse should work.
