I just tried it, mplayer does not work I get an error message saying unsuported format. Is there any other program besides realplayer that supports that format? thanks
Plus I dont trust realplayer because in windows it places lots of spyware on your system and im worried its doing something secretive in linux that hasnt been caught. Yes im paranoid
There is also realone player for linux. Its not to bad.
Here is a screenshot if you want to see what they look like in linux.
Mplayer is better though. I just use rp8 for playing embedded stuff in web pages. Realone is good for heavytv.ca. It doesnt really matter though since the picture will look the same between mplayer and realplayer when playing realplayer stuff.
