Introduction to Linux - A Hands on Guide
This guide was created as an overview of the Linux Operating System, geared toward new users as an exploration tour and getting started guide, with exercises at the end of each chapter.
For more advanced trainees it can be a desktop reference, and a collection of the base knowledge needed to proceed with system and network administration. This book contains many real life examples derived from the author's experience as a Linux system and network administrator, trainer and consultant. They hope these examples will help you to get a better understanding of the Linux system and that you feel encouraged to try out things on your own.

Please use a better title for your posts. Also, there is a spelling checker this site. Spaces between works and sentences will make you post easier to read. Also capitalize the first letter in a sentence and the personal pronoun "I". I had to read your post 3 times to try to get any meaning from it.
You should post more details on your system and what you are trying to install. There is no such thing as "linux xp".
Well, there is linux xp. Unfortunately, it doesn't have the best reputation as it is essentially a Linux based XP clone that is going to bug you about paying to use it pretty soon. There are far better options out there. Try Ubuntu, Ultimate, Mint. You can always install the Vixta theme if you want something that looks like windows.
Thanks for the correction. I never heard of "linux xp". I can't see them being able to use that name. Lindows had to change their name it was similar to Windows. I'm sure that Microsoft has "XP" trademarked. If it uses Anaconda, it sounds like it's based on Red Hat.
