Real Time Voice Morphing in Linux

Hey all!
Okay before anyone says "Try Google" I have! I'm looking for something that will allow me to morph my voice at real time in linux. Something comparable to morph vox or Blaze audio's Voice Cloak used in Wind...... i cant bring myself to say it!

I've really been pulling what little hair i have left out over this one, I'm doing sound effects for a small play being put on in my town and I'm running Slackware 12.1 and i REALLY don't want to have to try another O.S (no names mentioned)

I've been giving it a lot of time and if all else fails i'll have to put something together myself but that alas would require WAY too much time.

Has anyone out there heard of anything i could use? even a plugin for Amarok or something?

Thanks in advance

The Yikes

Audacity is the defacto audio editor on linux. Have you looked into it at all?

Real time voice morpher

Hi Anonobomer,
Thanks for the reply, i was beginning to wonder if it was something i said!?! I use audacity the whole time, I use it for all my audio editing projects and I have to say it's great.

That said to the best of my knowledge I don't think it's capable of real time effects, that is to say that if i want to change my voice pitch or add any other effect i have to first record myself and then make the changes.

What I'm looking for is something that when i peak the modified result is instant.

Still looking for an answer, if i do find it I'll post the solution here just in case anyone else might need a similar tool.

In the mean time any help is appreciated!

Thanks

The Yikes

We aren't going to email you answers...this is a community forum, so unless you're going to participate in the conversations here, there's not much point in posting. And this thread has been closed for SIX YEARS NOW, until you reopened it. Please re-read the LQ Rules. And amazingly enough, the past six years have produced some new results in Google:
