real media and mplayer
 
Hi
I want to ask that can I use MPlayer to play real-audio-media ( .ram, .rm etc ). If yes, will you tell me how can I configure my MPlayer to play real media

try downloading some of the codecs.

Thanks. These codecs are already installed with my MPlayer. Will you tell me that how can I configure MPlayer to play real media.

After quick google search, it appears the mplayer should be able to play realmedia files x_x. Unfortunately, I'm not going to be able to help you, i'm not sure what to do either. Sorry

Do you have the directory:

/usr/lib/win32

I created that dir, downloaded the win32, qt6, qtextras, and rp9
codecs from mplayer and placed all of the codecs in there.

If you are talking about streaming real media from the internet,
you will need a plugin such as "mozplugger" or "MPlayer plugin".
