Reading Speed of SVOX Pico2wave TTS in Linux Mint 17.1

2016-12-17

I am interested in learning how to control the reading speed of SVOX Pico2wave. I am quite happy with the voice quality of this free TTS. Any help will be much appreciated.

Have you read somewhere that it's even possible?

AwesomeMachine,

One website hints that it is feasible but provides no details. Pico2wave's help information in Linux Mint does not indicate any such feature. I put up this post just in case someone has worked out a solution. On the other hand any TTL without a speed-control capability is virtually useless.
